The varietal label of the Winery is named after the famous tree that stood at the center of the four kibbutzim which were established in Gush Etzion before the War of Independence. Until the return of Jewish communities to the area, those who looked from afar with longing at Gush Etzion, would see the oak tree. Upon returning to the place, this "Lone Oak Tree" became the symbol of the renewal of the communities of Gush Etzion. The wines in this series are single vineyard wines and complement the intensity, aromas, and flavors typical of both red and white varieties.
